LETTER OF ENGAGEMENT

SECTION – FEES/EXPENSES

INVESTIGATION/TRAVEL/REPORTING (per investigator)
Mon-Fri, 0900-1700 hrs – £40.00 per hour
1700-2359 hrs – £45.00 per hour
0001-0900 hrs – £50.00 per hour
Weekends Fri 1700hrs - Mon 0900hrs - £50.00 per hour
Surveillance minimum period 4 hours
ADMINISTRATION CHARGES
Receiving and acknowledging instructions, opening file – £20.00
Typing of report, post, telephones, download of images and video and other incidents – £40.00 per hour
USE OF EQUIPMENT
Use of digital video equipment – nil per period
Other equipment as specified EXPENSES
Travel expenses – £0.60 per mile

SECTION – CLIENT ACCEPTANCE/AGREEMENT

1.The client agrees the charge rate, expenses, hours/period of work detailed above, all prices subject to VAT @ 20%.
Should the estimate, quote or budget be exceeded they will also agree to pay same.
2. Unless agreed otherwise in writing prior to commencement, the client agrees to make payment to Pegasus Investigations Ltd within 30 days from receipt of invoice, unless stated otherwise on invoice.
3. The client accepts that in surveillance cases, particularly when only one investigator is used, there can be losses. If a loss occurs, the investigator(s) will endeavour to locate the subject but under normal circumstances, unless otherwise directed by the client, will cease the surveillance within an hour of the loss and the client will only be charged on a time and line basis for that day.
4. Tracker – where a client specifically requests the use of a tracker device, the client agrees to indemnify Pegasus Investigations Ltd. for any loss of the equipment (current cost price - £500.00 plus VAT).
