The Association of British Investigators
The Association of British Investigators (ABI) is the longest established organisation representing private investigators in the UK.
As a member of the ABI the MD of Pegasus Investigations has agreed to uphold the highest of professional standards. All staff have been vetted and are subject to disciplinary procedure through the ABI if transgressions from a strict code of ethics were to be found. This means you have recourse to lodge a complaint with the Association of British Investigators and against your investigator.
The ABI is endorsed by the Law Society of England and Wales and is exclusively included in the The Law Society of Scotland’s Service Provider Scheme. This means you can be confident that your investigator will always act within the law.
Through the ABI as an umbrella organisation Pegasus Investigations has access to the DVLA and the Criminal Records Bureau under certain circumstances. You can be confident that where you require to find or undertake background checks on someone they will be thorough and complete.
The Association of British Investigators is the most demanding, influential and widely respected industry body. As a full member Pegasus Investigations has demonstrated a commitment to a professional code of ethics which will be brought to bear on every aspect of the service delivered to you.
